My Publishing Companies
In Profile, use My Publishing Companies to save reusable company details such as company name, publisher contact email, Publisher IPI / CAE, Publisher PRO, managed-from date, and territory. This is useful when you manage more than one company or regularly choose the same company for new works.
Using a default company
You can mark an active company as the default for new compositions. The default helps prefill a future publishing choice; review the selection on every song because a company relationship can vary by writer, territory, and effective date.
Company management is not automatic allocation
Saving or managing a company in Profile does not automatically create a publisher share, a writer-to-publisher relationship, or a claim on any composition. Those rights choices are made in the specific composition workflow and become part of the locked evidence only when the composition is locked.
Retiring a company relationship
When a management relationship ends, use End on the company record. MRP keeps its history and does not rewrite existing songs or their locked records. Retiring a company only stops it being offered as an active future choice.
