Collaboration, discussions, and notifications
Use the activity timeline, discussion tools, invitations, and notification bell to keep each composition moving.

Following collaboration on a composition
Each composition keeps its own collaboration history. Use the contributor cards and activity timeline to see who has been added, invited, confirmed, asked a question, or changed a rights-related detail. The composition creator manages the work, while contributors act on their own invitation, claim, or publishing question.
Discussions and mentions
Open the discussion area on a composition when a rights detail needs context or a decision. Add a clear message, and use @mentions when you need a specific collaborator to see it. Discussions help the group resolve an open question; they do not change writer shares, publishing choices, or a locked record by themselves.
Using the notification bell
The notification bell collects activity that needs your attention, including invitations, confirmation updates, publishing questions, registration activity, and collaboration changes. Select a notification to open its related page. You can also dismiss an individual notification when you no longer need it; dismissal removes it from your personal feed, not from the composition history.
Keep the conversation attached to the song
When a creator invites a co-writer, MRP sends the recipient a secure link and, for existing members, an in-app notification. Pending invites can be resent when the recipient needs a fresh link. If the proposed information changes, review the update before asking the contributor to confirm again.
