Filtering and searching your catalog

Status filters

The filter bar below the stat cards lets you narrow the catalog to compositions in a specific state. Each filter is a shortcut to a meaningful group of compositions:

• Verified — compositions where the Writers and Confirmation scoring categories have both reached 100%, meaning all writer shares are documented and every co-writer has confirmed
• Needs Attention — compositions with incomplete or unconfirmed information that still require action
• Pending — compositions with at least one claim that has been accepted but not yet confirmed by the co-writer
• Draft — compositions still in the early drafting stage, before all required steps are complete
• Locked, Submitted, and Registered — separate lifecycle stages; Locked preserves rights evidence, Submitted/Sent for Registration tracks an active registration path, and Registered reflects a completed registration outcome
• Missing ISWC — compositions that do not yet have an ISWC assigned and are not registered or locked
• Awaiting Approval — compositions where the Passport Approval round is in progress and at least one party has not yet approved
• Has Issues — compositions where the Passport Approval round has flagged one or more outstanding issues

Searching by keyword

The search bar at the top of the catalog accepts free-text queries and matches against:

• Composition title
• ISWC (International Standard Musical Work Code)
• Writer names
• Publisher names
• Confirmed PRO affiliations

Search tips

Search is case-insensitive and matches partial words, so typing 'smith' will match both 'Smith' and 'Blacksmith'. There is no need to type an exact title — any word in the composition title or contributor names will find it. ISWC searches work with or without the standard dot-separator format.

Advanced filters

For more precise filtering, use the advanced filter panel to narrow by:

• PRO — filter to compositions where at least one writer is affiliated with a specific PRO; select one or more organisations
• Genre — filter to compositions with a specific genre tag
• Health range — filter by Passport Score range; enter a low and high value (for example, 50–79) to find compositions in a specific score band

Combining filters

Status filters, search, and advanced filters all work together. When multiple filters are active, only compositions that match all conditions are shown. For example, setting the status filter to Pending and searching for a writer's name will show only pending compositions that include that writer.

Sort order

Compositions are sorted newest-first by default — the composition most recently created or updated appears at the top. The sort order is not currently configurable from the dashboard, but filters and search let you focus on the most relevant compositions without scrolling through the entire list.

Dashboard stat cards

The stat cards above the composition list give you a quick read of your catalog's health. Each card is also a shortcut — clicking a card activates the corresponding filter. The stats shown are:

• Total Compositions — total number of compositions in My Catalog
• Verified — number of compositions where all writer shares are documented and every co-writer has confirmed
• Needs Attention — number of compositions with incomplete or unconfirmed information
• Pending Confirmations — number of compositions with at least one invited co-writer who has not yet confirmed
• Missing ISWC — compositions without an ISWC that are not yet registered
• Awaiting Approval — compositions in an active Passport Approval round
